The Yellowhead Outdoor Recreation Association (Y.O.R.A.) is a Valemount-based non-profit that oversees many of the hiking trails in the Valemount area. It also operates a number of backcountry cabins. For information about the cabins, call 566-8244 (250 area code).
Valemount-area trails are located on the traditional lands of the Simpcw First Nation, the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, and the McLeod Lake Indian Band.
