As valley bottom begins to thaw out after a long winter, trail-goers will encounter some obstacles on their paths.
The Aloha Trail suffered unknown damage after an avalanche slid over it. It is still covered in a mix of debris and snow and the opening of the trail is unknown.
The Cranberry Marsh trail is living up to its name with a very wet, boggy section on the north side, making a full loop impossible unless you get your feet very wet. This section was fortified with new boardwalks in the past, but water levels have once again breached the trail.
